Palliative Care & COVID-19

As the global COVID-19 Pandemic ravages the planet sowing fear, serious illness and death in its wake, palliative care has become indispensable to front lines providers more so than ever. After all, palliative care is specialized medical care focused on relieving the symptoms and stress of serious illness – for patients, family members and care providers across the spectrum. Leaders in the field are freely sharing their tools and resources with special attention to lessons learned helpful for guiding the way. Thanks to the wonderful work of the Coalition for Compassionate Care of California, Supportive Care Coalition, Center to Advance Palliative Care, and the Catholic Healthcare Association among others, we were able to compile resources accessible below to help navigate the journey through serious illness wherever it may lead.
