General Grief & Loss Support Group
June 12th to July 31st, meets Tuesdays, 6:00 to 7:30pm.
September 18th to November 6th, 2007 meets Tuesdays 6:00 to 7:30pm. For adults who have recently lost a loved one, this eight-week group offers support and counseling focusing on the process of grief and bereavement. (HBTB)
Working Through Grief with Yoga
Grief tends to be expressed physically as well as emotionally. The practice of yoga can help to reduce stress common when grieving, and help integrate body, mind and spirit. Learn to use the ancient tradition of Hatha Yoga to integrate body, mind, and spirit as part of a plan for self-care and stress relief. These 8 week groups combines sharing with gentle yoga practice. All meet on Thursdays from 1 – 2:30 PM. Sessions are: June 21st – August 16 (8 weeks, skips July 26th. Aug 30 – Oct 18 ( 8 wks. Nov 1st – December 20th, 2007 for 7 weeks, skips Nov 22nd, 2007. (HBTB)
